Founder's Note
Why I started Avedan
I come from a remote village in Assam, beside the Brahmaputra River.
Growing up, I saw how something as simple as filling an online application could become a difficult task for many people. Finding a cyber café, carrying important documents, entering the same information again and again, and depending on someone else to complete the process — only to repeat it all for the next application.
I kept thinking: there has to be a better way.
That thought became Avedan.
I started building Avedan myself, from the ground up, with a simple belief: people should be able to keep their information and documents organized and use them again, instead of starting from zero every time they apply for an opportunity.
Your next application shouldn't have to start from zero.
Avedan started in Assam because this is home and this is where I understand the problem. But my vision is to take what we build here to people across India.
