Avedan account deletion — instructions for users of the Avedan Android app.
How to delete your account in the app
- Open the Avedan app and sign in.
- Go to Menu → Settings.
- Scroll to Danger Zone.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm Delete Forever.
Can't access the app?
Email support@avedan.in from your registered phone number or email address and request account deletion. Include the phone number linked to your Avedan account so we can verify your identity.
What we delete
When you delete your account, Avedan removes:
- Profile information (name, email, phone, address, date of birth, and related details)
- Documents stored in Document Locker
- Resumes saved in your account
- Files uploaded to your account storage
- Your Firebase login account used to sign in to Avedan
What we may keep
Some information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- Job application and payment records needed for legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations
- Support tickets related to disputes or unresolved requests
- Anonymous or aggregated analytics logs that cannot identify you
Retention period
Most personal data linked to your account is deleted immediately when you complete in-app account deletion. Records we are required or permitted to keep for compliance may be retained for up to 90 days, after which they are deleted or anonymised unless a longer period is required by law.
