Description

The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), Division-I (erstwhile SEBA) has released the official notification for the online form fill-up of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination 2027 for Class 10 students of the 2026-2027 academic session. The online form fill-up window runs from 12 October 2026 to 10 November 2026. Candidates must complete the form fill-up through the school where their Class IX registration was done, using the official ASSEB Division-I online examination portal (sebaonline.org). The candidate's own bank account details must be provided during form fill-up. Other key dates in the notification: last date for online fee payment or challan generation is 12 November 2026, deposit of the SBI challan is allowed up to 16 November 2026, and corrections in the online checklist can be uploaded up to 19 November 2026. The portal for uploading Internal Assessment (IA) marks opens on 14 December 2026. The HSLC 2027 examination is a written (offline) examination for Class 10. The exam schedule has not been announced yet and is expected in early 2027. The helpline details will be updated on the portal.

Selection process & notes

Form fill-up must be completed through the school where the candidate's Class IX registration was done. Forms cannot be submitted through another institution unless the registration has been formally transferred.
Online form fill-up: 12 October 2026 to 10 November 2026 on the ASSEB Division-I online examination portal (sebaregistration.org).
Last date for online fee payment or challan generation: 12 November 2026. SBI challan payment is allowed up to 16 November 2026.
Corrections in the online checklist can be uploaded up to 19 November 2026. No subject-related corrections are accepted after this date.
Notified fees: examination fee Rs 700, practical examination fee Rs 150 (wherever applicable) and centre fee Rs 350.
Examination fee exemption is available for eligible students of government, provincialised and recognised schools whose parents' annual income from all sources is Rs 4 lakh or below. School officials verify the documents.
The candidate's individual bank account number is mandatory during form fill-up.
Candidates who did not appear in the Class IX Unit Tests and the Half-Yearly Examination are not eligible for HSLC 2027.
Those who have lost their login credentials should contact the Member Secretary of the concerned regional ASSEB Division-I office.
The Internal Assessment (IA) marks portal opens on 14 December 2026. HSLC 2027 exam dates are not announced yet, and helpline numbers will be published on the online examination portal.
