Description

The Directorate of Land Records & Surveys etc., Assam has invited online applications for 579 Land Record Assistant (LRA) posts under the amalgamated establishments of District Commissioners across Assam, excluding Sixth Schedule areas. Candidates must meet the prescribed RCCC Training and other eligibility requirements, including computer proficiency and typing ability. The application window is from 21 September 2026 at 11:00 AM to 21 October 2026 at 5:00 PM.

Candidates must also have computer proficiency with a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute in English and 15 words per minute in Assamese or Bengali.

Qualification

HSLC or equivalent from a recognized Central or State Board, plus successful completion of the 6-month Recorders Certificate Class Course (RCCC) Training from Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati-40. Candidates must also satisfy the prescribed computer proficiency and typing requirements.

Candidates must have passed the required Recorders Certificate Class Course (RCCC) Training and been declared proficient in both Survey and Settlement subjects as prescribed in the advertisement.
