Application form correction window: 14-10-2026 to 16-10-2026 (23:00 Hours). Correction charges: ₹200 for the first correction and ₹500 for the second; maximum two re-submissions.
Age limit: 18–27 years as on 01-08-2026 (born between 02-08-1999 and 01-08-2008).
Age relaxation: SC/ST 5 years; OBC 3 years; PwBD 10 years (PwBD-OBC 13, PwBD-SC/ST 15); ESM 3 years after deduction of military service; Defence personnel disabled in operations 3 years (SC/ST 8); Central Govt. civilian employees with 3+ years' service up to 40 years (SC/ST 45); Widows/divorced/judicially separated women (not remarried) up to 35 years (SC/ST 40).
Educational qualification is counted as on 07-10-2026. Result must be declared by this date; 'result under process' does not qualify.
Application fee: ₹100. Women, SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen (eligible for reservation) are exempted. Fee is non-refundable.
Minimum qualifying marks in Tier-I and Sections I, II, III of Tier-II: UR 30%, OBC/EWS 25%, all other categories 20%.
Skill Test for DEO: 15,000 key depressions/hour for DEO/DEO Grade 'A' in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, SSC and Ministry of Culture; 8,000 key depressions/hour for all other DEO posts (15 minutes).
Typing Test for LDC/JSA: 10 minutes; 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi (medium chosen in the application form; Hindi requires Mangal font).
Selection Process
Tier-I: Computer Based Examination (objective MCQ) – qualifying/shortlisting stage
Tier-II Session-I: Computer Based Examination – Section-I (Maths, Reasoning), Section-II (English, General Awareness), Section-III (Computer Knowledge, qualifying)
Tier-II Session-II (same day): Skill Test for DEO/DEO Grade 'A' or Typing Test for LDC/JSA – qualifying in nature
Merit list based on aggregate marks in Section-I and Section-II of Tier-II, subject to qualifying Section-III and Section-IV
Online post/department preference (Option Form) – final and irreversible
Document Verification by User Ministries/Departments/Organizations after the final result
Physical and medical standards, where applicable, are ascertained by the User Departments after the result
