Description
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification (Indicative Special Advertisement No. 52/2026) for direct recruitment to 80 posts of Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) in the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), under the Ministry of Labour & Employment. Online applications are open from 22nd August 2026 to 11th September 2026, to be submitted through the UPSC Online Recruitment Application (ORA) portal. APFC is a Group 'A' Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post carrying Pay Level 10 under the 7th Central Pay Commission. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university in any discipline (a diploma in Company Law, Labour Laws, or Public Administration is desirable but not mandatory). Selection consists of a Recruitment Test (offline, objective) followed by an Interview/Personality Test. The Recruitment Test is tentatively scheduled for 20th December 2026. Notably, this cycle's notification covers only APFC vacancies — the EO/AO requisition has reportedly been withdrawn for this round.
